Warm Welcome Cahors, Genevieve Carter

Genevieve Carter is an artist based in Long Island, New York. She is inspired by light and landscape and captures moments of the perpetual movement of life in paint. Her paintings are a form of meditative storytelling. After living for the best part of two decades in Los Angeles, she returned to the east coast and now resides on the north shore of Long Island with her husband, two daughters, and dogs. She comes from a long and storied line of artists and designers. Genevieve and Cy founded and run the bi-coastal interior design firm Carter Design.
