Skye Chamberlain is a Los Angeles based multidisciplinary artist whose expressive ceramic works we are now pleased to offer exclusively at Nickey Kehoe.

Chamberlain’s background in painting and sculpture frequently finds its way into his works through an art history lens, often incorporating traditional forms and motifs — and sometimes humor — into his glaze painted scenes. While studied, Skye’s painterly style is turned on its head through materials and process. Chamberlain often uses glazes “inappropriately” to achieve the sense of impressionistic wildness that first drew Todd and Amy to his works.
